A bit disappointed with our visit. There were some flowers but many were quite dry. No "lavender-fragrance-in-the-air" anywhere in the farm

Having put together a pile of goods , mainly for gifts , we were studiously ignored as the woman in the shop thought it better to continue a story about personal details .. including how Dr's we’re wrong .. and ‘ she would write to them ‘ about the use of Lavender.

Any decent gift place has Lavender products and how much better to buy from someone who knows how to smile and make you feel good in doing so.

So she / they lost over. $150 . 00 of sales . Which obviously doesn't matter .. so why waste your time and fuel there .?? .

Interesting place. Lavender wasnt in bloom which was a shame.. but all in all it is a lovely place to visit. The lady that served us was wonderful. I think it's a great stop and worth going to especially if like us ,you come after climbing bald rock and have a couple of scones and a tea or coffee.

We drove out to the farm because of a personal reference and will not ever do it again , even tho ' we are local.

A big thank you to Peter, Tere and Tilly from Aloomba Lavender for a perfect 5 night stay and your country hospitality. Your campground and facilities are well presented and maintained. It is also the perfect base to explore the local area, on both sides of the border, and it provides a relaxing and a beautiful backdrop for unwinding at the end of the day. Also appreciated how you made us feel welcome. Really enjoyed the cuppa's and chats.

Very friendly and down to earth staff who loved to have a chat. We bought some great oil and popped it straight into our bath. Fixed the sore muscles ready for another day of walking
